Norway’s Nel Hydrogen secures fresh US funding
Norwegian electrolyser manufacturer Nel said Wednesday it secured an additional $75 million in support for its planned gigafactory in Michigan, US, Kallanish reports.
The latest federal and state cash incentives and grants take the total support to the planned 4-gigawatt project to $125m. Of the collective announced amount, $50m in direct investment support was granted by the US Department of Energy, and $25m by the state of Michigan.
