Ottawa expected to pass ZEV regulations

Ottawa is set to unveil new zero-emissions vehicle (ZEV) regulations this week, according to multiple media reports citing a senior government official. Under these regulations, termed the “Electric Vehicle Availability Standard,” all new passenger cars sold in the Canadian province must be ZEVs by 2035.
