Oulu Energy plans a 100-MW Finnish hydrogen plant
Finnish electric utility Oulu Energy is planning to build a 100-megawatt hydrogen production plant in Oulu, northern Finland, as the company aims to become carbon neutral by 2030.
In addition to the electrolyser, the project will also feature a carbon capture and storage technology and a processing plant to produce either methane or methanol. The facility will be developed in partnership with Finnish green hydrogen developer P2X Solutions, in the Laanila industria…
