Pacific Nickel starts construction at Kolosori nickel project
Australian miner Pacific Nickel Mines earthworks in its Kolosori nickel project on Isabel Island, Solomon Islands, have commenced backed by Glencore’s funding.
The first tranche of mining contractor equipment from HBS PNG (HBS) successfully arrived on site in early August. The equipment, which includes new excavators and articulated dump trucks, arrived from Papua New Guinea and is operated by HBS, Kallanish notes.
