Panama, First Quantum resume negotiations over Cobre Panama copper-gold mine
First Quantum Minerals says it has re-started negotiations with the government of Panama over its giant Cobre Panama copper-gold mine and a stalled contract extension, Kallanish reports.
The two sides met on 26 December and 27 December and the talks are ongoing with hopes of resolving all issues as soon as possible, the British Columbia-based company says in an update.
