Pilbara, Calix formalise midstream lithium joint venture
Australian spodumene concentrate producer Pilbara Minerals confirmed on Monday it has signed a midstream joint venture agreement with Calix, Kallanish reports.
Under the agreement, the partners will develop a demonstration plant at the Pilgangoora project to produce lithium salts via an innovative midstream refining process using Calix’s proprietary calcination technology.
