Pod Point to enter BESS market with Gotion partnership
UK electric vehicle charger provider Pod Point announced Friday it is expanding into the battery energy storage systems (BESS) market with an agreement with China’s Gotion High-tech.
The planned “strategic” partnership also includes Slovakian battery start-up InoBat and Brill Power, the battery tech company originating from Oxford University. The companies will explore the opportunity to offer Pod Point customers home storage batteries.
