Renault, Geely to create hybrid powertrain JV by year-end
Geely Group and Renault have made significant progress with their plan to build a global component manufacturer that will produce hybrid and internal combustion engine (ICE) powertrains on a large scale. The firms are at an advanced stage in the creation of an equally owned joint venture, in which Aramco is also considering investing in, to give a strong contribution to the development of e-fuels and hydrogen technology, Kallanish learns from Renault.
