Renault signs battery off-take agreement
Renault has signed a long-term off-take agreement with start-up Verkor, a specialist in EV battery cells. The automaker will buy 12 gigawatt-hours of batteries annually for its upmarket brands. The supply will start with batteries for the full electric Alpine C-Crossover GT, which will be built from 2025 at Renault’s Dieppe facility in France, Kallanish notes.
