Rio Tinto begins producing lithium concentrate at Quebec demonstration plant

Rio Tinto has started a demonstration plant for producing lithium concentrate in Quebec, Kallanish reports. The plant to produce spodumene concentrate for use in producing lithium for EV batteries is located at the Rio Tinto Iron and Titanium (RTIT) Quebec Operations in its metallurgical complex in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec.
