Russia increases EV sales in October, outlook positive
Russian domestic sales of electric vehicles (EVs) increased in January-October, despite a big fall in the Russian car market, according to data from the Russian analytical agency Autostat.
Sales of new electric cars were up by 32.5% on-year to 2,100 units, Kallanish notes. In October alone, Russians purchased 296 new EVs, which is 27.8% more than a year ago.
The total fleet of electric cars in Russia is 23,000 units – new and second-hand.
