Russian EV sales hit new record before Russian-Ukrainian war
Russian domestic sales of electric vehicles (EVs) continued to increase in January-February, according to data from the Russian analytical agency Autostat monitored by Kallanish.
Sales of new electric vehicles increased to 565 units, which is 2.8 times more than in January-February of last year. In February alone, Russians purchased 290 new EVs, which is 3.8 times more than in February 2021.
