Russian EV sales hit record in 2021, outlook cloudy
Russian domestic sales of electric vehicles (EVs) continued to increase massively in 2021, according to data from the Russian analytical agency Autostat, monitored by Kallanish.
Sales of new electric vehicles increased to 2,254 units, which is 3.1 times more than in 2020.
Agency experts note that Russian sales of EVs have been growing for the fifth year in a row. In 2021, Russia’s sales of new electric vehicles doubled to 687 units, up by 95% on-year. …
