Saudi Arabia’s $5 billion green hydrogen project nears financial close
The world’s largest planned green hydrogen project in Neom, northwestern Saudi Arabia, is expected to finalise its financing in early 2023, Kallanish reports.
The $5 billion project is being developed by NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC), an equal joint venture between Air Products, ACWA Power, and NEOM. It will produce 600 tonnes/day of green hydrogen, which translates into an annual production capacity of 1.2 million t of green ammonia.
