SGX Commodities launches lithium, cobalt derivatives
Singapore Exchange (SGX) Commodities has officially launched its new suite of Energy Metals derivative contracts on 26 September 2022, trading 25 lots of cobalt metal, cobalt hydroxide and lithium carbonate contracts.
Bright Point Capital, HNK Alpha, Huayou Resources, Theme International Trading, Three Cobalt and Toptip traded in the inaugural session, with deals cleared by BPI Financial Group and Straits Financial Services.
