Sonatrach, Eni explore hydrogen development for Algeria
Algerian Sonatrach and Italian Eni will fast-track their hydrogen cooperation in Algeria. In a recent meeting in Algiers, Sonatrach’s chief executive officer Toufik Hakkar and general manager of Eni Natural Resources Alessandro Puliti reaffirmed their cooperation on several decarbonisation projects in Algeria, including green hydrogen development and transition to net-zero emissions for the country’s energy sector.
