South Korea asks US to ease requirements on EV subsidies
South Korea’s trade ministry has conveyed concerns from its car and battery players to US counterparts regarding the impact the proposed changes to EV subsidies and their ability to compete in the US market.
Chang-Yang Lee, minister of trade, industry and energy met representatives of Hyundai Motor, LG Energy Solution, SK On and Samsung SDI last week to discuss the industry’s “concerns and difficulties.”
