Stellantis sets team to work on a Chinese strategy
Stellantis, the new auto producer combining Fiat Chrysler (FCA) and Groupe PSA, is working on a comeback strategy targeting the Chinese market, says ceo Carlos Tavares.
The company, which started trading in Milan, Paris and New York earlier this week, has set a task force of five executives to find out “what went wrong” for both FCA and PSA in China. Both groups failed to achieve a prominent market position in the world’s largest auto market.
