Svolt commissions NMX battery cell series production in China
Chinese battery manufacturer Svolt has officially put its proprietary new nickel-manganese (NMX) battery cells into a series production line in Jintan, China, Kallanish reports.
The company said production of the NMX batteries started on schedule, following a pilot production of 10 tonnes of cobalt-free cathode material in January and the start of mass production for the cathode material in April. It didn't disclose capacity volumes.
