Terex Advance eyes Cummins’ hydrogen engines for mixer trucks
Indiana-based companies Terex Advance and Cummins are planning the production of concrete mixer truckers powered by hydrogen combustion engines, Kallanish reports.
The companies signed a letter of intent (LOI) to integrate Cummins’ X15H hydrogen engine into the Terex Advance Commander Series, when the innovative engine enters mass production “later this decade.” The trucks are currently powered by Cummins diesel engines.
