TotalEnergies inks hydrogen offtake for German refinery
TotalEnergies has signed an offtake agreement with German gas company VNG for the supply of green hydrogen to its Leuna refinery in Germany, Kallanish learns from the company.
VNG and its partner Uniper will build a 30 megawatts electrolyser in Bad Lauchstädt connected to Leuna by a pipeline. This will give the refinery access to the future European hydrogen infrastructure and international green hydrogen markets.
