Toyota to build EV fuel cells in Kentucky
Toyota North America will begin to build electrical vehicle (EV) fuel cells for heavy duty trucks at its Georgetown, Kentucky, location, Kallanish reports.
In an announcement, Toyota unveiled its plan to begin production of dual fuel cell modules for hydrogen-powered heavy duty trucks in 2023. The dual hydrogen cell modules will produce 160 kilowatts of continuous electrical energy, helping expand Toyota's EV technology to a new line of vehicles.
