COBALT: Trafigura concludes Congolese cobalt pilot
Singapore-based commodities trader Trafigura has called an end to its artisanal cobalt formalisation project in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Kallanish reports.
Trafigura, alongside project partners copper and cobalt mining firm Chemaf and non-government organisation (NGO) Pact, have agreed to conclude the pilot stage of the Mutoshi artisanal cobalt project. Both Trafigura and Pact will withdraw from the project on 31 December.
