TSMC to open Kukamoto chip factory next month: reports
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSMC) will reportedly carry an opening ceremony for its chip foundry in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan next year.
The company is said to have completed the construction of the facility and be gearing up to start trial production after the event on 24 February. Mass production is expected to begin by year-end, according to Japanese media.
