UK government in talks with 6 companies over gigafactories: report
The UK government is in discussions with six companies over investment in battery gigafactories, ahead of its electric shift in 2030.
Citing unnamed sources briefed on the talks, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday that the companies currently mulling manufacturing sites are Ford, Nissan, LG, Samsung, InoBat Auto and Britishvolt.
