UK picks 5 new manufacturers to demonstrate hydrogen switch
The UK government has selected a new bunch of companies from various industries to review the feasibility of switching their North West plants to run on hydrogen.
Pepsico, Heinz, Kelloggs, Essity and Novelis will join the HyNet Industrial Fuel Switching programme to provide evidence that should enable major manufacturing sites to use low carbon hydrogen from HyNet, decarbonising hard-to-abate sectors.
