US DoD invests $30m to establish energy storage systems campus
The US Department of Defense will invest $30 million into a three-year project to establish an energy storage systems campus, Kallanish learns.
The bid was led by the University of Texas at Dallas, with additional universities, laboratories and businesses contributing to the effort. According to the DoD, the campus will be established as part of its scaling capacity and accelerating local enterprises (SCALE) initiative.
