US grants $180m for low-emission transit programs
The US Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration (FTA) has granted $180 million in funding for transit projects to utilise low- or no-emission vehicles and facilities, Kallanish reports.
In a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO), the FTA announced that its low- or no-emission (low-no) program would grant $180m to eligible projects for the use of low- or no-emission vehicles and to support facilities utilising clean energy.
