USGS to provide $5.8m for Alaskan critical minerals mapping

The US Geological Service is investing $5.8 million to map critical mineral resources in Alaska, Kallanish reports. The funding is coming largely from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the USGS is working with the Alaska Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys.
