Vale reports strong copper performance in Q4 2023
Brazilian mining giant Vale reported Tuesday a productive fourth quarter, with its copper production volume increasing 50% and its sales more than doubling year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
The company produced 99,100 tonnes of copper during Q4. Throughout 2023, Vale produced a total of 326,600 t of copper – an on-year increase of 29%.
