Vinci tests dynamic EV charging on motorway
French construction giant and motorways operator Vinci is starting a pilot project in Saint-Arnoult en Yvelines, in the Paris area, to charge battery electric heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) on the motorway, Kallanish notes.
The project aims to allow HGV and other types of electric vehicles to experience the dynamic charging technology called Electric Road System (ERS) while driving.
