Volkswagen launches free over-the-air update for ID drivers
Volkswagen said Monday it started free over-the-air updates for all its ID electric vehicle models, as it continues to transform into a “software-oriented mobility provider.”
The German carmaker says its BEVs ID.3, ID.4 and ID.4 GTX are all eligible to benefit from optimised surroundings recognition, more intuitive operability of the infotainment system and other new features via the initial update.
