Volvo Cars begins C40 Recharge production at Ghent plant
Swedish carmaker Volvo Cars confirmed on Thursday its Ghent car plant in Belgium has started producing the C40 Recharge crossover, Kallanish reports.
The battery electric vehicle (BEV) is the company’s second fully electric car and the latest in a series of new BEVs to be launched in the coming years. In the words of Volvo, the model “offers the benefits of an SUV, but with a lower and sleeker design.”
