Volvo Cars BEV gross income remains ‘healthy’ in Q2
Volvo Cars says its BEV new car gross income per unit continues to be “healthy and higher” than the comparable XC40 non-BEV, despite rising raw materials costs.
The Swedish carmaker revealed in its Q2 financial results report that revenue per car for a BEV was SEK 467,000 ($45,258), compared to SEK 418,000 for a non-BEV last quarter. The gross income for a BEV was SEK 71,000/unit, compared to SEK 93,000 for a non-BEV.
