Volvo Cars sees 53% rise in EV sales in April

Volvo Cars says electric vehicle sales accounted for nearly half of all its car sales in April, after a 53% year-on-year increase, Kallanish reports. The Swedish carmaker saw its EV sales, which include both all-electric (BEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models, rise to 31,523 units globally in April.
