Widgie Nickel updates Widgie 3 mineral resource
Australian miner Widgie Nickel announced Monday an upgrade to the mineral resource estimate (MRE) of its Widgie 3 nickel deposit at Widgiemooltha in Western Australia.
The figure now stands at 734,000 tonnes at 1.53% nickel for 11,200 nickel tonnes, Kallanish notes. Around 70% of the MRE is classified as indicated for 6,880 t of contained nickel. In the 2018 MRE, the resources were classified as inferred only.
