Widgie Nickel updates Widgie Townsite MRE, trims spending
Australian miner Widgie Nickel says the mineral resource estimate (MRE) for its Widgie Townsite in Western Australia stands at 2.5 million tonnes at 1.53% nickel for 38,260 nickel tonnes.
The MRE update increased resource confidence, with 69% of the nickel metal classified as indicated resources for 26,460 t of nickel. The indicated contained nickel metal has increased 32% from the 2021 MRE, Kallanish learns from a company statement.
