Xiaomi Auto officially starts production in Beijing
Chinese carmaker Xiaomi Auto, an affiliate of technology firm Xiaomi, has officially launched production at its gigafactory in Yizhuang, Beijing, Kallanish reports.
Company’s founder, chairman and ceo Lei Jun announced on 19 March that directors from the board visited the factory and test-drove the Xiaomi SU7 ahead of the start of sales on 28 March. The all-electric sedan entered pre-orders last week.
