Xiaomi registers its second auto company
Xiaomi Automobile Technology, the parent's second venture, has been established with a registered capital of CNY 1 billion ($156.65 million). The legal representative is Lei Jun, Kallanish notes.
The registered capital has been reduced compared to the CNY 10 billion of the first company, Xiaomi Automobile. The registration location is still Beijing, which shows that Xiaomi will still build factories around Beijing in the future.
