ZeroAvia completes maiden test flight of hydrogen-electric aircraft
Hydrogen-electric aviation company ZeroAvia has successfully completed its test flight of the world’s largest aircraft powered by a hydrogen-electric engine, Kallanish reports.
The Anglo-American company said its 19-seat Dornier 228 testbed aircraft took to the skies on 19 January from its R&D facility at Cotswold Airport in Gloucestershire, UK. The flight lasted 10 minutes and “all systems performed as expected.”
