Australia investigates Chinese rebar
Australia’s Antidumping Commission has begun an investigation into imports of rebar from China, it says. Australia’s steelmakers have struggle to remain profitable as the strength of the Aussie dollar over recent years and rising labour costs has made import competitive, Kallanish notes.
