Chinese steelmakers eye gains from Russias energy sector
China’s Xiangtan Iron and Steel (Xianggang), part of Hunan Valin Steel says it has won approval for its high-end plate to be used in Russia’s Yamal liquefied natural gas (LNG) project. It becomes the latest Chinese company to benefit from the $27 billion LNG project in Russia’s arctic north.
