At least 12 die in another scaffold collapse at Formosa Hanh Tinh
Formosa Plastics Group (FPG) has confirmed at least 12 deaths in a scaffold collapse at its 10.5 million tonne/year greenfield steelworks project in Vietnam. The accident is another blemish on a troubled project but FPG has managed so far to overcome all obstacles and plans to commission the first blast furnace this year, Kallanish notes.
