Osaka Steel teams up with Krakatau for Indonesian longs jv
Indonesia’s Krakatau Steel has announced a joint venture with Japan’s Osaka Steel, which will produce up to 500,000 tonnes/year of longs products for the infrastructure and construction sectors. The venture, Krakatau Osaka Steel (KOS) is majority-owned by Osaka, a subsidiary of Japan's Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC).
