Pakistani mills book profit on rising output, demand
Pakistan’s crude steel production grew 14% on-year to 1.21 million tonnes in the fiscal quarter ended 30 September, against 1.07mt a year earlier. During the period, Pakistan imported 875,344 tonnes of scrap to feed into steel production.
