June scrap prices stable in Italy, Alocci expects summer fall
Scrap prices in the Italian market are expected to drop by €10-15/tonne ($10.9-16.4/t) in the next two months due the four-to-six week summer shutdown at Italian mills, Italy-based trader Alocci Rappresentanze Industriali tells Kallanish. According to Alocci, in June the prices remained essentially unchanged both on the domestic and the European market.
