Germany's VDM reports high capacity usage
ThyssenKrupp’s (TK) VDM subsidiary in Germany reports good operating levels, after recently winning two orders for almost 6,000 tonnes of sheet products. Usage rates are good at the Siegen hot rolling mill and Altena plate and sheet production site, it notes.
The orders are smelted at VDM’s Unna site, hot rolled and finally processed in Duisburg, Siegen and Altena. VDM says it has already started producing and delivering the first order.
