Acciaierie d'Italia furloughs workers again
Acciaierie d’Italia, the joint venture between ArcelorMittal and state-owned Invitalia, is to implement 13 more weeks of temporary furlough. The company is able to access the state scheme for a maximum of 3,500 employees.
This follows another temporary furlough period that took place between 28 June and 26 September due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, sources close to the company tell Kallanish.
