Acerías Paz del Río sees first-quarter earnings growth
Acerías Paz del Río, the sole integrated steelmaker in Colombia, saw its performance improve year-on-year in the first quarter, Kallanish learns from its latest earnings report.
"The improvement was supported by operational stability through action plans generating greater availability of finished products," says APR. The company confirms it reduced costs in Q1, which together with higher market prices translated into profit growth.
