Aceros Arequipa commissions Danieli monitoring system, expands order
Peruvian long steelmaker Aceros Arequipa has issued a final acceptance certificate to technology supplier Danieli for the start-up of the new condition monitoring system (D-CMS) installed at its rolling mill No.2 in Lima, the Italian company tells Kallanish.
“The technology evaluates the condition of bearings and gears,” Danieli explains. “This system also prevents the possible damage from malfunction reporting automatically the anomalies.”…
